The confidentiality of your personal data is one of the main priorities of Instant-Gel, based in Romania, in its capacity as data controller.

Categories of personal data processed
A. If you are a customer of the Website, Instant-Gel will process data such as your first and last name, telephone number, email address, billing address, shipping address, data on how you use the Website (such as your behaviour, preferences and habits), as well as any other categories of data you provide directly when creating an account or placing an order. If you create an account using Facebook or Google, the public profile data displayed by those applications will be processed. If you create an account solely to complete an order, you will be asked for your email address so that the account can be created automatically; if you do not complete the order, the data will not be stored and the account will be deleted automatically.

B. If you are a visitor to the Website, Instant-Gel processes the data you provide directly while using the Website, such as information submitted through the contact section, questions or complaints, as well as data collected indirectly, such as your IP address, the browser used, browsing duration, search history, operating system, language, pages viewed, URLs, click sequence, information on your interaction with the pages and data on user behaviour.

Purposes and legal grounds for processing
A. If you are a customer, we process your personal data in order to perform the contractual relationship between you and Instant-Gel, to fulfil our legal tax and archiving obligations, for marketing activities based on your consent, and for analyses and reports aimed at improving the experience on the Website.
B. If you are a visitor, we process your data for marketing purposes based on the consent you give through the newsletter subscription form, and for resolving complaints, monitoring traffic and improving the experience, based on our legitimate interest in ensuring that the Website functions properly.

Duration of data processing
We process data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated above. For customers, data will be processed for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter in accordance with the legal obligation to retain tax records for 10 years. Deleting your account from the user account section is treated as unsubscribing from commercial communications, but does not result in the automatic deletion of your personal data; to have your data actually deleted, you may exercise your rights. Where deletion is requested for an account with active orders, the request is registered after the most recent orders have been delivered and completed. Withdrawing your consent to marketing ends processing for that purpose, without affecting any processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Disclosure of personal data
We do not rent or sell your data. Your data may be accessible to service providers, carriers, hosting providers and IT companies acting as data processors, which are obliged to maintain confidentiality and to use the data strictly for the purpose communicated to them. Your data may also be disclosed to central or local public authorities for the administration of the Website, for promotional campaigns, for maintaining and improving the Website, for analysis and research, for commercial communications in accordance with the law, or where disclosure is required by law.

Transfer of personal data
Your data may be transferred outside Romania, but only to Member States of the European Union.

Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to be informed, the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure (the right to be forgotten), the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate or public interest and to processing for direct marketing purposes, the right not to be subject to an automated individual decision, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) or to apply to the competent courts. Privacy of minors
We do not knowingly collect information from persons under the age of 18. If we obtain such information by mistake, we will request parental consent or delete the data.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
